What to expect during appointment?

Every Appointment starts with a complimentary Consultation. At that time we will go over all areas you wish to address, answer any questions you may have, as well as provide a quote of total cost before proceeding.

Your face will be cleansed and the areas that are to be injected will be marked with a removable eyeliner/marker. Once you are ready, the injections will be performed in various areas to target the desired muscles.

After treatment its normal for marks or bumps to appear around the injection site. This should only last a short time. In some cases, you might get some mild bruising which will resolve in 24-48 hours. At the end of your treatment you will be given instructions on what to do and what not to do in the next 24 hours.

A follow up email will be sent out 2 weeks after treatment, to check in on your results and schedule follow up appointments if necessary.

Onset

Neurotoxins generally take effect in 7-14 days but it is common to not see your full and final results for 14 days. We, personally, always tell our patients to wait a full 2 weeks after their Botox injection and, if at that point you need a touch-up, we will schedule a follow up apt to access your concerns.

Duration

Eventually, the neurotoxin will wear off and the muscles will start working and contracting. In general, Botox for Bruxism lasts 4-6 months.
